Bee Smoker
By far the best bee smoker that I have ever used is manufactured by Dandant. They are a bit on the pricey side, but the quality is exceptional. I have been using the same one for about 8 years, and it still has life in it yet. It is available at most bee supply stores
If you are looking for a cheaper smoker, that can be shipped to you, I have combed through the different styles online, and found one that appears to be reasonable quality for a fair price. I have personally never used it so I can’t say for sure. The button below is a link to this smoker.
Veils
I have tried many different veils that are available on the market, and each one has some pros and cons. I have found that the cheaper veils are not made to last, the screening is hard to see through, and the elastics aren’t tight enough to actually keep the bees out. It is worth spending extra money to buy a good veil that works and lasts well.
I order mine from a company that manufactures them here in Ontario, and ships them right to me. The quality is exceptional, better than any other veil I have used. The only down side is that you cannot see them or order them online, you have to call.
Hive Tool
